and Roses
All kings are dead · Book 3
Synopsis
LIBRO III and Roses Long before becoming king, Arakar Oretes shipwrecked the Islas del Estío and saved an elfa princess with four pirates. He returned to Thyria on a white ship with no crew and with a promise: one day, a daughter from the Brisaluna lineage would travel to his kingdom to join one of his descendants. Now that debt has a face. Ishara has come to marry Oberon. But the heir's far and far to the Shadow Mountains with Uther and Gloin. Arakar, aged and harassed by the war between the Domino and La Forja, begins to suspect that his youth legends were not miracles but contracts his price never came to understand. At Green Dragon Inn, Gloin looks for hydrohoney, women and a night without ghosts. Uther tries to hide that she loves his brother's fiancée. Oberon looks at the stars and dreams about Ishara with a pale mask and with Uther raising a sword against him. The arrival of the mysterious Tarvan reveals that Gloin's mace opens up a lost path and his father entered the mountains looking for the same relic. Before they can decide if to trust him, the Inn is mugged, the steel replaces the drink and a bell resounds from a step where there's been no bell tower for three hundred years. They have to choose at dawn. To get back to Thyria. Or crossing a path that even the dead are trying to escape from.
